Townhall - February 19, 2025

Join Mayor Meed Ward and Councillor Bentivegna for a Townhall at Haber Recreation Centre on Wednesday, Feb. 19 from 7-9 p.m. in Community Room 1.

The Mayor will present a brief State of the City address, and residents will have the opportunity to ask questions. This is your chance to hear directly from the Mayor on important topics affecting Burlington and to ask questions, voice your concerns, and provide feedback.

2025 Mayor's State of the City Address

Mayor Marianne Meed Ward invites you to attend the 2025 Mayor’s State of the City Address, an annual event taking place on Friday, January 24 at the Burlington Convention Centre. The Mayor will share her bold plans and vision for the coming year, share insights into the challenges and exciting opportunities ahead for Burlington. This is your opportunity to engage directly with the Mayor and to hear firsthand what’s ahead for the community and how we’ll address the most pressing issues facing our city.

When: January 24th, 2024, 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM
Where: Burlington Convention Centre

Mayor's Community Drop In - Jan. 29

Come meet the Mayor on Wednesday, January 29 at Fortinos on 5111 New Street in Burlington.

Mayor Meed Ward will be in the food court area of Fortinos from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and would love to meet with interested residents one-on-one.

Come on by to share your thoughts on how to improve Burlington. Meetings will be on a first-come, first-served basis for around ten minutes. Everyone is welcome.

Share Your Burlington Beauty – Call for Photo Submissions

Mayor Marianne Meed Ward invites you to submit your favourite photos of Burlington’s stunning landscapes, from Lake Ontario sunrises to Niagara Escarpment views and serene trails.

The Mayor’s 2025 calendar will feature selected photos showcasing Burlington’s natural beauty. Photographers chosen will earn a $100 honorarium, receive full credit, and be recognized at a ceremony hosted by Mayor Meed Ward.

Deadline for submissions is Friday, Dec. 6, 2024.

Recognition ceremony will take place at City Hall on Monday, Dec. 16, at 4:30 p.m.
